Speaking of on the wrist, adding to the uniqueness of this watch is the Gay Frères ladder bracelet, marked "3 71" with "ZJ" end-links. This example has aged nicely with a light patina across the board giving off that nice worn-in vintage feel on the wrist. The red central seconds hand allows for extra legibility and adds a nice pop of color to the watch. If you look closely at the hands in the seconds and minutes register, you'll notice they're a bit longer than the one in the hour register – Zenith did this on purpose. The sub-dials are engine-turned, adding a layer of depth to the dial.
